There are instances that sale is not pushing because the buyer is not fully comitted on the decision or idea of buying a house. some people are lucky enough when they take a leap of faith but most people are not so lucky and end up either cancelling the sale and losing their earnest money or being frustrated with the house and not being able to pay the monthly mortgage. 3) Do you have a good credit history? - Making a good credit history takes a lot of work and a lot of discipline in terms of financial decisions. If you have a good credit history then work on still to further improve it. If you do have a bad credit history then start correcting it today by checking all your expenses and work hard not to miss any payments. Having a good credit history will give you good chances of being approved on your mortgage loan.

4) Do you have good credit score? - the importance of having a high credit score gives you the qualificatin to have a wider type of mortgage loan that you can apply. There are special loans that only people with high credit score can apply. Depending on your situation these loans can be very useful for you.

5) Are you Responsible enough to take care a house? - you need to realize that when you have a house of your own; you are now the person in charge of it's maintenance. You need to make sure that you always check the house for repairs, if it is clean, redecorating and if a major renovation is needed. As you enjoy benefits of having your own house, you should also learn to deal with it's responsibilities.

6) Have you already checked and decided what type of house you will buy? - There are different houses available out there; there are single detached houses, condominiums, semi-detached houses. You should make sure that you understand the challenges and the advantages each of these type of houses.

7) Do you already know or at least have an idea what goes on during purchasing processes? - Before buying a house, you should at least have an idea and some understanding on the steps on how to purchase a house and what goes on during each step. You should know the legal implications of it as well as understand each step so that you will know your options. You should also have researched how to spot a dishonest real estate agent and how to hire a good real estate agent.
